WWE Superstar Seth Rollins recently spoke with BT Sport, and the former Grand Slam champion discussed a number of different industry-related topics, including his relationship with Roman Reigns, how he always knew the Shield would take over pro wrestling , and how Reigns’ strength has looked over the past two years. The highlights of the interview are as follows.
Says Shield’s goal is for three stars to take over the wrestling industry:
“When we started The Shield, our goal was always to be the top three of us in the industry. It’s always been our goal, it was never like, ‘Oh, I’ll help you, you’ll help me, we’ll help him. We give our all, we all use each other, don’t like to help each other, I don’t mean negative, but we all know what we bring. We all know our ultimate goal is to be top. Literally the best. No one Can touch us, but never any bickering, never like jealousy, never anything like you don’t deserve, I deserve it. Ever-never.”
How he has always had a good relationship with Reigns and praised him as a performer:
“He’s very talented in what he does, he’s incredible as a champion, all the time, in his role, especially the last two years have been very special for him as a performer. So I don’t get it from He takes anything from him, but I just can’t tell myself in my heart that someone is better than me or can do better than me. So at the end of the day, it’s not my sandbox and these are not my decisions. But yeah, it’s been going well between him and me.”
